Mary Bernardo
Hello, I'm Mary. I was born in New Jersey, grew up in North Carolina and am currently based in Charlotte, NC. I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in December of 2020 with a Bachelor's in Film Studies and a minor in Digital Art. In December of 2022 I became certified in Toon Boom Harmony through CG Spectrum College of Digital Art & Animation's 2D Animation Course. I am a multi-medium artist who works with both digital and traditional media. My primary media of choice are acrylic paint and digital painting (Adobe Photoshop). I also enjoy working with photography, sewing, animation, and whatever else sparks inspiration in me.
For me art has always been about trying to bring what is in my head out to the world. Whether I am trying to create a universe and story for others to enjoy, or simply trying to convey a feeling. All art has the power to communicate and engage. I also want to help others communicate what they have in their heads by creating art that speaks for them.

When I am not making art I can usually be found playing video games, listening to a mix of showtunes and pop-punk, or sitting down with my guitar and having a pitchy but fun jam session. Despite my other hobbies, art has always been my one true love! I have a Redbubble shop where people can support my art by buying items with my designs printed on them here.
